FINDING YOUR COMPASS

Values Discovery for Realignment

“Values are the guidance your mind needs. Your values are there to remind the ego of the individual you are trying to become. You are showing it that becoming is of interest to you. You are telling it that you are not satisfied with the cage it is trying to keep you in.”

Let’s Begin!

Establishing your values is the first step in remembering who you are. You do not have to be spiritual to take this workshop. Everything is explained and taught in grounded ‘earthly’ terms. If you are struggling with limiting beliefs, self-doubt, judgment against self and others, you will enjoy this short workshop.

It shifts your perception to recognizing every moment as a choice to either let ego control your thoughts, actions, and emotions or to realign with your Heart. As you will see, your values are your compass. They are your Heart’s true desires that guide you towards alignment. It is an essential first step in the process of gaining freedom from ego and becoming Heart-Powered.

You will need 30 minutes in a quiet place, pen, and paper (or printed workbook). Let’s dive right in!

Higher Self Meditation

I would like for you to journal about everything that came up. Any words/images/inner knowing? It is ok if not. Write all the words that you have on your mind right now.

If you are having a hard time getting started, try using “I feel…” or “I am…” as prompts. Don’t overthink it! Take a couple of minutes for this automatic writing and reflection exercise.

Exercises and Journal Prompts

Following through with the exercises and journal prompts is a crucial part of the process. They mirror the exercises discussed in the workshop. Take your time with them! Get a friend or your partner to do them with you. You can download the pdf of the workbook for printing here.

Creative Exercise

This self-reflective creative exercise is another method to uncover your true values and Heart’s desires. For this exercise, you will need paint, brushes, and paper. You can substitute with crayons, coloring pencils, or markers. I find watercolors more meditative. A cheap set similar to this will serve your needs just fine!
